This might already be in your design, but you should definitely allow people to setup their calendar for the year and have cards go out automatically.
Say for your close family ect; you setup a specific group that the cards would go out automatically for their birthday / whatever. That way you setup the designs and messages one time, and then the cards go out by themselves when the time comes.
To me that would be the most convenient. Set it and forget it type of deal, without having to worry about getting back to the website and sending a card in time for a sibling or parent birthday.
You could even pre-charge for the cards that would go out automatically in the future, which would help with increasing your revenue stream when the business first starts.
Thanks who ever it is... yes, that is already part of the plan! So you can sit down and send out your cards for the year... not have to think about it again. You can't legally pre-charge for goods to be mailed... so the credit card would get charged on the date the card goes out.. that is the only difference. We tried to find a way around it, but all the other major card companies with an online function (Hallmark) do it this way. Thanks!

Didn't know about the pre-charge thing. Oh, well. Wish you the best of luck. I think this is a really great idea!
